Are the snap coupler latches the same on a D 19 as the other D series ?   I am needing 2 and wondering if they are heavier/ stronger than the smaller tractors.   Thanks!!

The lift latches for the D19/190 snap coupler tractors do have heavier/stronger lower parts to the lift latch. The ones from smaller tractors will interchange and be serviceable for lighter loads and less severe use. In any case it would be wise to use the crossbar on the round loop made into the bottom of the lift latches.
I have a pair of D19/190 lift latches available that need new springs, PM me if interested.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Every series 4 D-17 snap-coupler I've ever seen have the heavy lift arm latches.
