How does it come apart? I had one give to me that's locked up solid. It's been soaking in a five gallon bucket of kerosine and atf for at least 6 or 7 months. Looks like theres a lock ring on the gear side holding in a roller bearing. There is a breakdown in the manual. Any tips? ------------- Learning AC...slowly |

That's pretty straightfoward. My manual had a different graphic and no explaination. Thank you.

I've got it apart,steam cleaned,bead blasted,primed,painted,bearings(sealed) are here and going back together. BUT the interior shaft snap ring must have lost it's temper to the acetalyne wrench. Does it have a part number or spec? ------------- Learning AC...slowly |

Oh, sealed bearing #'s FAG 6207-2RSR FAG 6208-2RSR One was German one was Korean. $41.00 plus tax shipped. On Ebay. And I did have to throw the bearings in the freezer overnight.

I have 2 of these pulleeys that I would sell in Ohio. I think they both need some work from setting around. |

“..Does it have a part number or spec?..” Measure the shaft diameter (not the groove), and that will tell you what the snap ring size should be. There is often a choice of ‘standard’ or ‘heavy (thicker)’. If the bearings listed in an above post are correct, the shaft diameter is 40mm; so it will either be a 40mm ring, or maybe a 1-9/16”. Both are readily available from McMaster-Carr. |
