How does it come apart? I had one give to me that's locked up solid. It's been soaking in a five gallon bucket of kerosine and atf for at least  6 or 7 months. Looks like theres a lock ring on the gear side holding in a roller bearing. There is a breakdown in the manual. Any tips?

That's pretty straightfoward. My manual had a different graphic and no explaination. Thank you.

I don't suppose anyone has the part numbers for the bearings and seals? Or knows where to look.

71135475 BEARING, ball, outer shaft
70210025 BEARING, ball, inner shaft
70208417 Oil Seal Outer

Bearings should have numbers on them that will work at a parts or bearing store, seal should too

I've got it apart, steam cleaned, bead blasted, primed, painted, bearings(sealed) are here and going back together. BUT the interior shaft snap ring must have lost it's temper to the acetalyne wrench. Does it have a part number or spec?

“..Does it have a part number or spec?..”

Measure the shaft diameter (not the groove), and that will tell you what the snap ring size should be. There is often a choice of ‘standard’ or ‘heavy (thicker)’.

If the bearings listed in an above post are correct, the shaft diameter is 40mm; so it will either be a 40mm ring, or maybe a 1-9/16”. Both are readily available from McMaster-Carr.
