Do the throttle friction washers have a composite (like brake pads) or are they solid metal? The ones on our D17 IV located behind the dash are all metal and not sure if that is correct or not. If worn, any substitute available as they appear to be backordered on AGCO site, part no 70276996.

They are plastic.

Plastic- ok, with all the grease on them I assumed they were metal with a glued on composite that was worn off.

I had throttle issues (linkage adjustment was required) and thought these were worn out.

Thank You

In order for them to work with any degree of good performance, they must be left clean and dry. The only downside is when they get wet (from rain or power washing) rust forms on the slide plate and the lever will work a little stiff until the rust rubs off, then back to normal.
