Heat addition results in expansion within a closed vessel and a corresponding rise in pressure results. Must have been some really hot water used washing the truck...... Truck looks good and should be a fun project. ------------- That's All Folks! |

That is a beauty! Is the engine pictured above going in it? Did it originally have the 216 inline 6 like the 49's? Dad replaced the one in his '49 with a 292 out of a "63 C60. ------------- Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God. |

Golly, that one is in great shape! leave it as-is (mebbie straighten out the grille) but go through the brakes, suspension, and drivetrain, make her a run and driver in 'original clothing'. ------------- Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest. |
