I know the Agco Whites are available with a Funk tranny and a 8.3 Cummins any Agco or Agco Allis with that combo?

The 94XX/96XX/9815 AGCO-Allis, had the Funk transmissions with the Detroit Diesel, (upgraded IH) 466/530 cubic inch engines. I know you're partial to the Cummins, but these were very good engines as well.

I don’t know enough about Detroit’s to have an opinion either way. Got 3 8.3’s in the fleet so familiar with them.

Funk is owned by John Deere. Do the green tractors have the same transmission?

No. Funk also built the Terra-Shift transmission for TerraGators years ago.

I don't think that Agco really wanted to refer to those engines as Detroits. Too many people instantly assumed they were some 2 stroke, oil leaker design. Agco preferred that they were called Navistar. Penske also had something to do with them,I think?? Regardless, they have proven to be damn good engines. New Holland genesis tractors used a variation of the Funk transmission, didn't they?

Genesis tranny was like the "gen #1" of that 18-speed that AGCO used. Genesis only had 16 speeds with 9th and 10th overlapping, where AGCO didn't overlap and had 18 speeds. The Baby Challenger from Caterpillar had the same tranny as the Genesis.  John Deere's 8000 series tranny was always unique because of the way it was placed into the chassis, versus the other manufacturers. I'm sure many of the clutch parts/control valve solenoids etc could have interchanged between the different brands, but most of the other hard parts would have been unique to Deere's tractors.
