I'm at the point where my ability to upload without deleting pictures is maxed out.  Are there easy ways to have pictures uploaded off the forum and have them linked in?  I used to use photobucket back in the day but its dead.

Thanks!

hmm.
possible options..

if you resize pictures to 640x480 ( VGA standard), you'll get 3x more oictures in your 'folder'.

it 'might' be possible to 'link' to say your Google picture folder but....always for hackers to get in ??

dang, reminds me I should 'purge' my picture folder here....maybe next rainy day.....

the simple way is to go thru your stored photos on this site and DELETE anything that is a couple years old, UNLESS it is a good reference photo.. Problem is you have to do ONE by ONE..you can not delete a group at once.. Look at the SIZE of the photos you have.. AS Jay said, upload NEW photos as 800 x 600 MAX and your photo size will be about 100K bits.. since you get 80 MEG on this site, that allows you 800 photos.... If your photos are in the 2000 x 1500 pixel range, then each might be 1 MEG and you only get 80 photos.

you can always go to some Third Vendor site and store you photos and then put a LINK.. But most would rather see the photo direct on this site.

I post a lot of photos... snap shots of service manuals, reference to alternators, wire diagrams , photos of tractors, etc... I find that 90% of them are NOT used for reference. The SEARCH engine for this site is not easy to use and most people just ask the same questions 3 month later..  I find it best to just eliminate the OLD photos and repost a new photo.. Photos that have been here for 6 months are normally LOST is Space unless someone has put them in the Reference catagory.
