I’m looking for help to remove the lower pin of the 3 point hitch arm on a 185. The end of the arm broke off and the pin is left. One end has a large flat (like a screw driver slot) and it’s froze.. I’m planning to heat the pin, but how do I get it outa there?

Remove nut (torch or wrench), heat area around pin and drive it out.                 MACK

..as Mac said, but it can be the most difficult chore one undertakes.... with a rosebud and 16# sledge - about a month ago it took two of out guys over an hour - and the pin was ruined in the process.. just a debbie downer warning

If you can get the pin to rotate, it's stuck inside the ball and that area is the widest/most surface area and hard to get at with a torch. Remember, anytime you heat something to cause it to expand, try to avoid turning it red. If it turns red anywhere, and you don't get it apart, when it cools it will be tighter than before.
