I see it every year this one tree blooms several days before the other redbuds. It sits way up high on what’s called inspiration point. Don’t know if it’s where it’s located or the certain species or what causes it to be ahead of the others?
Things should be looking really good next week

However, one thing for certain was that I was born in Red Bud, IL.  Wink

Hmmm : Here in MN it's 2 to 4 inches of snow that is suppose to bloom from weather front now encompassing the area , that along with colder temps into the 20's expected .
Seems the ground hog and 6 weeks of winter is really 10 weeks or more before the chance of snow is diminished to a 70% chance .

Was down in Dallas / Fort Worth area and the tulips were 2 foot high... mine here in
southern Kansas are not much over 2 inches. At least I have hope, spring is just around the corner.
