So the fuel gauge hasn't worked on my 6080 for as long as I can remember. Yesterday, I almost ran it out of fuel, again! Luckily I got it shut down before it sucked a bunch of air in the system. Anyway, where is the sender located? Can these be checked with an ohm meter to see if it is the problem or might be somewhere else?

From the seat looking back it’s to the left of the fill nozzle. Yes you should be able to measure ohms.
