Was wondering anyone seen this before, bought this 7040 a few years back and thought, hmm, maybe the owner lost the timing pin plug once and that is his safe gaurdšŸ˜‰.fast forward to now ,tractor is getting a make over and i decide the mod is going while im putting new orings in throttle shaft on pump.. Turns out the plug is stripped and that mod holds it in?

Guess it's better than duct tape, baling wire, or zip ties.
