| Why do I see a diamond on the sides of the radiator frame on some machines…but not others ? The tractor I bought has a power unit radiator swapped on and it doesn’t have the diamonds, but a power unit I have does? And looking at random pictures on the web of E’s …some do..some don’t? Appreciate any wisdom |

Here's an example:  ------------- Ten Amendments, Ten Commandments, and one Golden Rule solve most every problem. Citrus hand-cleaner with Pumice does the rest. |

And to get stranger yet...  A diamond, with no letter inside... My answer is, I don't know... but PERHAPS SOMEONE else does??

E 25-40 's did not have diamonds on side tanks ,if u see one with then its a Power unit radiator a lot less work to bolt complete unit on then to take core out a n change over . Have removed the diamond on a few to install on E-25-40 or even the E 20-35 Short fenders . Now if you want to get deeper in to this the bottom tanks are different shape from later P/U then E tractor. These tractors are from the 30's many swaps can be done over the years . ------------- He who dies with the most toys is, nonetheless ,still dead. If all else fails ,Read all that is PRINTED. |
