Just got a late model DD with the 6 cylinder engine. Looking for an overhaul kit. Also looking for a hood . For some reason someone in the past cut a big hole in the hood.

   Good morning.
What year is your grader? Does it have the 8" round or the 8" square main beam?
   Remember, we all like pictures.
The extra large hole may have to be fixed with good body work Hoods will be hard to find.

It has the square tube. I'm of the older generation so posting pictures will have to wait until my grand daughter comes for a visit. It has a cab with a factory heater and power hydraulic everything. It appears to have sat outside or some time so it has some rust but none real bad. I'm thinking it's a later model grader with most if not all of the options. I haven't located the serial number as of yet.

Hi.    The serial no. will be stamped onto an aluminum plate in the location shown in this picture.
   The engine should be a D17 diesel 4.3 L, 6 cyl. (262 cu. in.).

Do you have hydraulic rear brakes?

Hope your Granddaughter can help you with the pictures.

I do not have my A C books with me. We are escaping the Ontario winter weather, while enjoying a rainy Florida morning.

Yes on the brakes , but as of now they are not in working order. When I get it home that will be the first thing to be worked on.

I had a jagged hole around in my hood around my exhaust. I had a local fab shop cut out a plate. Waiting for paint shop to finish painting hood and plate but it should be good to go.
