Finally yesterday, things got down to a dull roar, and everyone, including myself, could start digging out from the monster blizzard that brought things to a halt from Tuesday through Friday. Finally got into town last night to grab a bite to eat and just get off the place for an hour. I could not believe the mountains of snow piled up in the vacant lots. Never seen so much snow in Hebron. Must have been all hands on deck with some big assed equipment going. Not sure where they're going to put snow for the rest of the winter. No chance of it melting any time soon either. We dipped below 0 yesterday, and are not supposed to be above 0 now for like 8 days, with it getting down to 30 below on Thursday. Yeah, I've had enough of this already, but sad part about it is that we're just getting started.

I watched on the radar that you got hit with all snow, yikes!

Seems like January's weather got here very early this year.  It's freaking miserable out!  Got cleaned up just to have wind close us back up.  Told my sis to find us a winter rental by her for next year.  FL is pretty nice this time of year!

Our local weather is walking back their forecast as the weather they considered coming is not arriving.  Temps likely to drop to near zero but no longer Negative numbers, Snow fall markedly reduced and radar images showing decreasing event as it nears.  Winds are picking up but remarkably the Blizzard predicted is not arriving.

They are doing OK. We have them right close by, here in the yard. Was a tough gig to get them fed today, but we got em enough hay. Automatic water fountain stayed open, thank God. I think that we'll see a little reprieve tomorrow. If the wind would just die down to a dull roar would help tremendously. I am not going to be leaving the place without a couple hours of snow moving.

I’ve been digging out every day. Can’t keep up with it new snow and blowing daily. We’ve had to use the blower to get to the hay loader tractor has tire chains and the pay loader moves a lot of snow.
