My neighbor just dropped by to tell me he was offered a WD45 in running condition with a 6’ back blade for $650. I don’t see how he could go wrong, even though I haven’t seen the tractor. Thoughts?

Blade is worth half of that if in working order. Buy it!

I wouldn't care if it ran or NOT!  SNAG IT!  ;-)

.

That seems like a great price for a running WD45 or even regular WD (I've seen a lot of listings using 'WD45' generically to cover both models, and many have had sticker 'upgrades' without hardware mods lol).

He could get that tractor and buy new rubber tires all around and still not hit the pricing I'm seeing locally for running base WDs.

Be sure and post pictures: Shifter (straight/curved), belly draw bar attachment (pin/bell), and both sides of the engine (bolt on plate behind distributor or full casting). 3 point hitch upgraded?

I haven’t seen it, but I asked some of the same questions. He said it does have the lift arms.

Don't ask questions, grab a gas can, put in a couple gallons, visit the bank, and have a friend drop you off at his place.  Hand him the cash, pour in the gas, and drive it home.
