My dad, Howard Vann, was a fantastic father and an even better friend.  We have traveled to shows, auctions, and many other tractor events together for 20 + years.  His body could not sustain his soul’s desire to continue making friends in the Allis family.  He never met a stranger.  He will be dearly missed by many that knew him, especially my two boys and me.

Sorry to hear of your loss. It'll be hard for a while but eventually you'll be able to tell stories and laugh about them. Mine has been gone almost 2 years and we're finally getting to where we can laugh again

Sorry for your loss. I remember the fracas with Okie boy just before the show. Seems I recall there was a near miss  on a paint job on your high crop. Painted it night before coming to show, and paint was still a little soft. I always enjoyed talking with you and your Dad. May he rest in peace. May God be with you and entire family as  you go thru the loss, funersl, and period of mourning. God Bless.

I'm sorry for your loss. I love to hear of wonderful father/son father/daughter relationships. I lost my dad when I was 21 but I have that great relationship with my sons and I would not trade it for anything.
