Hi
I'm going to replace the graphite clutch release by  a thrust ball bearing.
Do i have to replace also the shifter or just remove the carbon ring and put the ball bearing?
I am surprised by the low contact surface of the ring with the plate release, about a ring of 0.08 "  thickness of and in growth of only 0.04"
Very few compare to the previous carbon ring.

john, here are a couple photos from the ALLIS PARTS page .... maybe that will help ?

i think your asking if the bearing can be bought separate from the rest of the parts.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

I don't know what you're talking about the clutch release doesn't really have anything to do with the shifter.
