Purplewave auction site has that 200--7000 combo tractor for sale on November 9th. It's in West Plains Missouri. I believe that it was discussed on this site a while back. Appears to be a 7000 chassis with 200 tin. Pretty well done.

Well, that must not have worked out for the last buyer. About 60 or 90 days ago I think. Went from northern Wisconsin to Missouri. It brought $6500 to $7000 grand the last time. Seems they can't even advertise it correctly with a 12-speed transmission, not 8-speeds.

Not sure why they don't advertise it for what it is? An upgraded drive train of a 7000 with the good looks of 200 sheet metal?

While I always wanted to build this combination, in my spare time lol! I think this one may not be as clean a job as the pics would indicate? Or the people selling the last few times just have no idea what it really is! It's a 200 series 2! lol! ultimate 200, 3 speed pd, live pto. Looks to have the 200 engine. Doesn't look too bad really, I'd take it, but never give over 6 or so. The 12,500 was just crack pipe dreaming! Really needs properly repainted to be worth that.

The plans I had to do one, utilized the 200's front axle, platform, suspended clutch/brake pedals and most importantly the "Console Control". This tractor went in the other direction, which was probably easier to do in some ways. Sitting in my seat, the only thing that would have felt different would have been the Power Director lever without a neutral.

My dream was same as yours. Use the pd lever from the 200.

I see that this tractor sold for $4600.00 plus an additional 10%, probably a buyers fee, for a $5060.00 total price. Pretty cheap if it's mechanically sound.

so did it actually sell? Probably not, like Dr said, it'll make the auction circuit lol! Must be way different in person than the pics make it out to be?
