Went back to pick up the roll over plow today that came with the D17 I purchased a few months ago. As I was about to leave I asked if it ever had a 3 bar black grill on it when they bought it? And sure enough it did. John said the tractor had an AC loader on it when they bought it years ago. When they put the new clutch and head gasket on they replaced the 3 bar grill that was beat up with the one you see in the picture. The 3 bar is definitely what I consider beyond repair. I have a new 3 bar ordered but now I know the history of why it was missing.
