Hi all is there anyway of cutting new threads for the muffler in a G manifold or do I need a new one.

You can try to tap new threads in.   When I had a shop do that with my D17 manifold, the tap split the top of the manifold.

By "cutting new threads", do you mean the old threads are stripped out ?

If so, is there enough (cast) material to re-thread?  Might try tapping it anew as Aaron said.  OR, does it require going to the next size NPT?

Then something else to consider.... If there's a machine shop in your area that has a CNC mill with a threading cycle.  Ask them if they can do it.  Shouldn't be too much of a challenge.
Of course, both these suggestions assume there's material there.
