If you borrow, return it. If you value it, take care of it. If you make a mess, clean it up. If you move it, put it back. If it belongs to someone else, get permission to use it. If you don’t know how to operate it, leave it alone. If it's none of your business, don't ask questions.

Stepson & his son & daughter are here visiting and they don't know any of these rules and think they are to smart to learn anything from their Grandmother & I. Sad to say sure will be glad when they leave Thursday |

Good advice, Coke. Wish more people would go by these rules. Most people try to blame bad things that happen to them on others instead of admitting that it is the result of poor choices they made in life. ------------- Just an old country boy saved by the grace of God. |

Sad to say, my oldest College Educated Granddaughter (26) does not share my ideals either,,, We no longer are able to discuss politics because of her extreme liberal ideas,,,and THAT does bother me but I have finally learnt to keep the mouth silent because of my Son as it also bothers him. Just the the same any more,,is it,,,?

College seems to have instilled a great deal of Liberalism in the youth of what were once very Conservative families. My Deceased BILs daughters are evidence of that liberalism, determined to make the US something it was never intended to be, Socialist. Morgan listened to me one day as I spoke with her Mother as she and I both carried same ideals, Conservative, Hard Work, EARN what you end up with. Morgan essentially alienated myself AND Her own Mother after which their mother had found another to love as dearly as my BIL, she has moved from her children and noted to me in a letter she no longer knows and is uncertain if can accept who they have become, and knows it was done to them in College. Morgan lives in Atlanta, in a nice little 950sf house she and hub had repaired to make a home in, is in a depressed area and are constantly berated by the Blacks that still hate them no matter what she attempts to do FOR them and she cries of it, cannot accept they live for freebies, the more that is given the more that is expected. Tried once to explain that fallacy of ideal, she ignored me so I do not speak to her these days. She makes social media statements as to Socialism will make it all better, expects as incorrectly assumes that under a socialist basis she will not lose her padded lifestyle or well paying job, she is as mistaken as the morons that taught her such garbage as Socialist Equality Equalization is ALWAYS Down not Up.
