My father in law has a rear tine troybilt tiller from 1986 that needs a gas tank. Anybody know if any small engine boneyards in the southeast that he could find one? A new tank is about $550

Which engine does it have? Also what are the dimensions? Text me a picture and I will keep an eye out for one. At that price a new engine might be less expensive.

Should be a Briggs Square tank either 3.5 or 5 hp dependent of model.  My own Pony series has carb issues I am rebuilding that now.

I see a lot of "BRIGGS" tanks on the internet for $100.

If it was ME, i would buy something like this and build a bracket to adapt !!

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

It's the 8hp Kohler. He said he's thinking about going the cheaper tank and bracket route but thought we'd look a little deeper first
