I'm pretty sure I'm missing something but how do you get the second clamp in place when putting suitcase weights on the front of an 8050? Have 12 weights that i am putting onto a 14 weight bracket. Put the LH clamp in and slid the first weight on from the RH side followed by the other 11 weights. How do I get the RH clamp in place? There's nothing in the Owners Manual that I have been able to find so looking for help.

Put both clamps on, slide right and left weights against clamps, then end up in middle. MACK

So I have to take the bar near the back of the bracket off (or at least far enough to let you slide the center weights into position) and then replace it after all the weights are in position?

Got the bar off, took out second from right weight, have RH clamp in position. I don't have a wide enough space to slide in the last weight. These are new aftermarket clamps from Heitman Tractor, do I need to take a little material off the clamps so they give me enough clearance to get the last weight into position?

Whatever it takes to meet your goals. The way it's designed, you can't just change the weight count by one weight, I think it's pairs and maybe they won't be centered when done.

My 8050 had 14 front weights. I did not need that much weight on the front end. I removed three weights and used the same brackets. I now have a total of 11 front suitcase weights. My clamps are in the second hole in from each end. I would consider selling you two of those extra weights that I took off if you need more weight. Leon B

A big pry bar will stack weights close enough to gather to get last one in. MACK

Got them on, had to remove some material from the clamps to get them to be perpendicular to the bracket. They were angled towards the center and preventing the outside weights from moving out far enough to allow the last weight to fit in the open space. All weights fit snug, needed no more than two turns of the clamp bolts to tighten them up.

I wish we could text pics from the phones to here as easy as we can text them between phones. I would have liked to see your brackets and the troubles you had.
