.

Any easy method to combine both R & L brake pedals into a single action?

My Fergusons have a little arm/cam that locks the two pedals together and the Farmall 806 we used on the farm had a little flipper plate on one pedal that rotated into a slot on the other one.

I was disking with my recently acquired WD WF today and would like a way to tie the pedals together, didn't see an obvious way. No luck with my Google search either.

lay a 1 inch strap across the top of both pedals, and put a U bolt or two hose clamps on each pedal.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

Why would you want them locked togather? They are turning brakes.                  MACK

I'm not using the brakes to spin the tractor. Maybe if cultivating corn later.

I don't need split brakes on my car/truck ...

... and already have work boots on.

You angle your foot and hit both...one will stop you if you ain't flying

since mine are not adjusted "exactly" the same... I can press the weaker one a "little" harder to stop evenly...  Peace

why ?  just push both at the same time  i seem to find a need to use my brakes to aid in turning with heavey draw bar loads or hooking up

If the brake pedal pivot shaft and bushings are in good condition, there should only be maybe 1/2" between the pedals .

If you clamp the strap only to the left pedal, and leave the right one free, you can make up the difference in adjustment, by angling your foot, as you apply it...Wink

I always just rolled my foot to catch both pedals.  If they are adjusted right, there is no need to lock the brakes together.  If they are adjusted wrong, locking them won't work anyway.
