| Do these smaller towns have a widows group that meets once a month? All of a sudden today I have 23 want to be friends on Facebook from widowed gals. They might be great gals, I do know most of them. But I am not interested. I got's some traveling to do, thinking to do, etc. Shucks the family and I are put the old gals ashes in the ground this next holiday weekend, If it ever stops raining. |

Well,,Tom,,there must be lots of them gals everywhere that are "looking" for companionship cause I too have been getting lots of requests for "friends" on The MarketPlace,,,,and,,,,and,,they is all older gals,,altho,,some are younger that my oldest boy,,,!!,nary a one male and I'm glad of THAT,,!!
 Thing is,,I know some of them but most I never heard of,,,,,? I'm coming up on one year in August and have yet to build up enough gumption to ask some gal ,,,,,anything,,!! I do expect that will come one day,,so I best get ready,,,, |

8 years now and can't say I have run into any listings or offers , in fact doing some hunting myself and it seems kind of empty searches . Unsure of where your looking or how the contacts are made , then wonder how many are just searching for a easy mark as have found a couple of scam postings on a few places I have searched . Everyone needs company Tom.... Some people have other family members to keep them busy... Some people have no one....When / if you start "looking", just make sure they are LOCAL. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

| Shameless I've got a gal I really like, secretary at the car dealership where I used to work. She's 10 years younger than me. We talk a lot. And she told me She likes her guys to talk a lot around the house. Guess that leaves me out. But I feel like I'm on these gals top 10 most wanted list. Got's 6 more friend requests today. Gals it ain't gonna happen soon. Got 2 females in the house now, one cat and one dog. Darn female cat came in heat 2 weeks ago, darn thing yowelled around for two weeks. Just don't need no 2 legged female yowelling at me right now. |

Well, Tom,,I agree with ole Shameless and Doug in that FB is prolly not the best place to go looking for a life partner, altho,,there prolly are just as many Good ladies on there also looking for a life partner as well. I'm still not to the point of wanting to go looking and I doubt I'm gonna do any traveling to go look. Besides,,I done got my priorities pretty well set and doubt I'm gonna want to do any "Changing" any time soon,,,,,which almost rules out any success in finding a soul mate,,,,,

there single's groups around and also on the internet. It all depends on you and your thoughts & feelings. Just as the olds saying goods time heals everything. The amount of time depends on each person. Enjoy yourself the way you want to.

I have found out that if your 60 or older and healthy you are in demand. Took me 8 years to sort through all the aplicants. Finally found a wonderful lady from Costa Rica. I couldn't be happier. ------------- We the unwilling Led by the unqualified Doing the impossible for the Ungrateful |

| Dad remarried too soon after mom died from cancer. His second wife was 10 years younger then him. She was needy and controlling. They moved 150 miles away to be close to her daughter. Things didn't work out and dad got divorced. Didn't hear what that cost him. Luckily he ended up making some really good friends where he lives. |
