Here is the tractor I rebuilt using all used parts that I took pictures as I measured the parts making sure they were in spec. I had to repair the drive shaft in 2017. Other than that I have not had to anything except change oil and replace sediment bowl gaskets and switch gas tanks. I put a new radiator on it that I had in my parts for 10 or more years. When I repaired the drive shaft I did changed the clutch and pressure plate. Both good used from my used saved parts. It is my lawn and manure mulching tractor mower. Last year I rigged it to chop hay for the horses. Starts easy every time and does not smoke.  Pictures to show it has not been low use tractor.

That just goes to show you what can be done if you take the time to inspect everything.  I have done a few "economy" rebuilds.. I normally use new gaskets and piston rings... But used pistons, liners, valves, cam, even crank bearings can be reused or replaced with those from a spare engine ..... EVERYTHING does not have to be EXACTLY to factory spec to be "good"............. Looks like you have proven than over time, Dick !!

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
