I need some help figuring out where the replacement spring goes for the lever that controls the snap coupler release.  The spring has been gone as long as I can remember.  The lever hangs out  and hangs up on your leg while operating the tractor.  The obvious eye that you can see in the picture is for the brake return spring.  Is this also where the spring goes for the lever???

The spring is no longer available.  I have 3 tractors that need it.  If you did have the spring, it would attach to the brake rod.

If you look at the lever, it's bent slightly, too.  Common occurrence.  When you are bodging up a spring, straighten up the lever, too...Wink

Thanks DSeries4 and DIYDave!  So the original spring ran from the brake rod to the bracket on the lever where the chain attaches?  I'll see if I can come up with something.  I appreciate the help.
