Looking to buy a local disk from a dealer, it’s a 630 JD disk I believe it to be 26-30 foot wide with guide wheels. How hard will it work my 7060? I’d like to try it but if it won’t I have a different tractor I can pull it with. I am not sure what my tractor dynos.

An A-C 2500 disc that is 25ft wide works well on a 7060 with matching 20.8 x 38 tires/duals with fluid in inside tires. A 2500 disc has 22 inch blades with 9 inch spacing between blades. Weight is approx 120 lbs per blade. What specs is a Deere 630 disc?? I can find you a 15 ft disc that will stop your tractor dead in its tracks.

I’m pretty sure it’s on 9 inch spacing and has 22 inch blades. I’m not sure on the weight of it however. I have two sets of weights on both sides with water in the tires also with duals. I’ve got a subsoiler that’ll make my Allis scream uncle but I don’t want to break it

We just put new blades on our 24' 630. It has narrow spaced blades. It is all a 7060 really wants in wet or heavy ground. Finish working dry ground is fine but in our soils I wouldn't try bigger.

I’ll have to measure it again, I’m not exactly sure on the size of the disc. I assume it’s a 28-30. May possibly be 26ft and if so that may be a little be more better for me.

I would rather have a 22 or 24 behind it. MACK

Seems most people pull a disk a little to large for there tractor.
