I have a AC 5020 S/N 2837 with the Factory 430 loader and use it mostly with a 5' rotary mower and a 14' sprayer. The sprayer has a 50 gal tank and when full "approx 450 lbs" the three point has no trouble lifting it and the front wheels stay planted to the ground. I would like to increase my tank capacity to 100 gal and I'm just concerned it might be a little to much for the three point to lift. My Manual and internet searches have not yielded any info on the three point lift capacity for a 5020. Any thoughts?? |

Chris.... one way to test it is to get a couple 200 pound buddies and have one stand on each side of the 3 point and try to lift it............... Remember, the closer you get the weight to the tractor, the easier it is to lift.. If you put a bigger tank, try to get it setting above the 3 point arms, or CLOSER to the tractor than your present tank. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

Or mount a nurse tank up front to equalize the weight... Could be easily mounted, with a front bracket, and a electric transfer pump. Pump doesn't have to do much, just re-supply the rear tank, as you are spraying. When not spraying, dump the transfer pump output to an agitator in the front tank... What are you spraying, if you don't mind me asking?  On re-reading your post, since it has a loader on it, I believe you will be OK with the additional weight... You can always not fill it all the way, if it gets a little light up front...

| my guess with the booms and pump parts you will be up over 1000lbs. Not sure it has that kind of lift capacity. I have asked a similar question in the past for my 5020 but wasn’t looking to lift that much weight. |

the lift cap on our 5015 is 978 lbs 5020 should be the same ------------- Farm stuff 8050,6690,175,F2,5050,WD |

Morley, is that rated at the end of the 3 point arm ... or did you actually lift a load on a rear platform or ???? ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

| Dave, spraying a few acres of pasture with 24D. Have Thistle and Bind Weed I'm trying to kill. Another reason I want more capacity is I also have a 3/4" hose mounting on the sprayer to use when I'm burning pasture or a brush pile to keep them in check. With a 3/4" hose 50 gals goes pretty quick. I want a little better insurance policy. |

I have a Massey Ferguson 220 basically the same as the AC 5030 and can't see how it'd handle 1000 lbs on the 3pt,have weights on the front to handle a 4ft tiller and it still gets light.
