i put sum chicky in the smoker tonight, when i shut the door the bottom of the smoker fell out, all rusty. now i gots a big hole in the bottom, i went ahead and smoked the chicky, it still worked, just took about 10 mins longer. i have a new smoker still in the box that i bought on a sale, guess i can get it out and put it together now. i'll prolly keep the controls and handles and temp guage off the old one.

I seem to be running into the same kind of crap right now. My new pellet smoker isn't working right (at least I still have the electric one as a back-up), the wife added a couple of new items she wants done ASAP to the honey-do list, and the truck needs the water pump replaced AGAIN! And this is all in addition to the customer project (a custom island and top for their new kitchen) I need to get done, cleaning up the shop, and getting the tractor in to do the hydraulic work. It never ends!

Yeah, never ending. Can’t finish even one project without four more needing attention.

You have joined the club of to much stuff. I feel like I started the club listening to Dixie.  Just keep pounding away without worry at the urgent ones and after a time you will find you are even farther behind. Wink  It is what happens when you learn to do things yourself. I feel sorry for those that never learn to do projects themselves. What a dull life.

Well chit! You guys are lucky you get to get behind working on your projects, hell I can’t even get started on mine cause I’m waiting on parts and to make matters worse a tractor I had to send to the shop can’t be split to fix a oil leak because they’re waiting on parts for the first thing they worked on that doesn’t have anything to do with why it’s even there.
