The above is my "work of art" with a grain bin... one end, the door and other 'was' the roof of the bin.     I have been wanting to post this for years but did not take time to work through the kinks of posting... I did this from my laptop without using any outside uploading service.

i have several old grain bins i thought i'd do similar things with, never got them done tho. yours looks good! they make good car ports too!

Ron...go to HF and get their saw...it's like a chain saw with a big metal cutting wheel on it, it's the same thing that fire departments use when cutting into buildings. i have one and it works great for cutting anything metal. wear ear/eye protection

I did no cutting on this build... took the bin apart to transport and then put it back together so could put the 2 halves end to end... ... the negative is the "seam" on top was not structurally sound, so i had to make some braces to hold the curve on top.  The walls are 5 feet, if i remember correctly...   Peace, Floyd
