If anyone on here bought it keep me posted on what you found with the pto. I chased it close to the top but didn’t need another project that bad.

.

I expect we will see a lot more crazy high auction prices.

1- fed cash printing injected severe inflation into the economy
2- supply shortages have cut back on new equipment manufacture, and spare parts
3- inflation is pushing more to think about food/farm production, creating demand for all sizes of used tractors and equipment.

One of the famous hyperinflation events a hundred years ago revealed that farmers, if they could hang onto their land, were the best off because they had food production. Some paid off their mortgages by taking a dozen eggs to the banker (loan writers learned about that and it won't work anymore) because eggs became so valuable.

What did the 6080 bring?  Saw one listed on local craigslist a few days ago for $15,900.  By the next day, it was no longer listed, so assumed it sold right away.  Picture of it looked good and low hours in the 3k range.

I'd say the 200 brought just about what it sold for new. Funny thing I sold my 200 two years ago. Just as nice as this one only it had nice cab and great working AC and 2 speed/Hydraulic PTO. After advertising it on this site and other outlets I finally sold it for $7500.00   I missed it so bad after 3 months I bought it back from the guy for $8000.00 and glad I did. Same year model as this one which is now 48 years old.

I went and looked at all the equipment prior to the sale. The 6080 wasn’t bright and shiny but it was clean and straight. Probably the only “ buy” of the sale. All of the equipment was well taken care of. I was bidding on the Gleaner Draper head. Needless to say I’m still looking.

Seller said tach/hour meter didn’t work he didn’t have a guess to actual hours. It needed tires, one fender had a moderate opps, paint was faded. Guy with auction seemed decent. I was looking for a bargain and really didn’t need another project.
