I expect we will see a lot more crazy high auction prices. 1- fed cash printing injected severe inflation into the economy 2- supply shortages have cut back on new equipment manufacture, and spare parts 3- inflation is pushing more to think about food/farm production, creating demand for all sizes of used tractors and equipment. One of the famous hyperinflation events a hundred years ago revealed that farmers, if they could hang onto their land, were the best off because they had food production. Some paid off their mortgages by taking a dozen eggs to the banker (loan writers learned about that and it won't work anymore) because eggs became so valuable. .

What did the 6080 bring? Saw one listed on local craigslist a few days ago for $15,900. By the next day, it was no longer listed, so assumed it sold right away. | I'd say the 200 brought just about what it sold for new. Funny thing I sold my 200 two years ago. Just as nice as this one only it had nice cab and great working AC and 2 speed/Hydraulic PTO. After advertising it on this site and other outlets I finally sold it for $7500.00 I missed it so bad after 3 months I bought it back from the guy for $8000.00 and glad I did. Same year model as this one which is now 48 years old. |

| I went and looked at all the equipment prior to the sale. The 6080 wasn’t bright and shiny but it was clean and straight. Probably the only “ buy” of the sale. All of the equipment was well taken care of. I was bidding on the Gleaner Draper head. Needless to say I’m still looking. |

Seller said tach/hour meter didn’t work he didn’t have a guess to actual hours. It needed tires, one fender had a moderate opps, paint was faded. Guy with auction seemed decent.
