I buy mine at fleet farm. I use the relatively cheap Valspar Restoration series. and ad the hardner. The Spray bombs match it well for small touchups.

I use the Herschel Adams paints for Valu Bilt Tractor Catalog.  They also carry it at Orschelin farm stores if yo have any of those.  It is not automotive grade, if you want that you have to get custom mix and pay bigger dollars.

If you have a Wholesale Auto Paint store nearby, get some acrylic enamel from them. It won't fade and is more durable than what farm stores sell.  There is a place in Joplin that sells Dupont Centari for $30/gal.  The local farm store gets $25/gal for their fleet stuff (which fades).

Why is there never time to do it right the first time, but always time to go back and fix it?

My experiance is there is no such thing as cheap good paint and a person must get into the low end automotive paint to get quality worthy or spending the time to prep the tractor. There are other brands but the ones I know are Dupont Nason and PPG OMNI and Shopline (depends on the dealer) by the time you get the other needed items besides the color coat your going to spend $250. Myself, If I only had enough money to buy farm fleet paint Id leave the tractor unpainted.
