If anyone has a 70/80 series 4 x 14's fully mounted plow with 3-point hitch hook-up, I'd like to know where the lift/pullbar is situated from the right side. I have access to a 3 x 16's to look at and the right pull pin is 6 inches from the side of the frame. Thinking a 4 x 14's may be less than 6 inches ?? I know an Owners manual to that series of plow would have this info in it. Thanks.

Thank you Skyhighballoon(MO) for the pictures from an owners manual. What I'm trying to do is make my snap-coupler plow fit onto my One-Seventy high-platform tractor so I can show it off at a plow day next Spring. I have removed four 5/8" bolts to remove the snap-coupler pull tongue and plan on building a hitch that I can bolt to the front of the plow frame. My new hitch will make the plow about 4 inches farther back, but I'm not too concerned about that. I just needed the dimensions of the pull bar to get it positioned correctly. I doubt that I'll get any practice runs before showing it off to the other brands of tractors and plow, so I gotta have it right when I get there. Thanks again.

Doc, do you have the pull-bar parts you need? I have a semi-mount 4-16's No.84 that is going to become a parts plow. Not sure if any of it would help you or not?

Thanks, but no. I'm custom making this so with just about 6 bolts and can switch back and forth between snap-coupler and 3-pt on the same plow. Ambidextrous I guess.

Sounds like a good way to go, I like to make things so they can be put back to original and not be able to tell they were ever modified too.
