I had an interesting random thought while changing the rear diff oil in my truck which calls for a bottle of Ford friction modifier for the limited slip clutches. In thinking how friction modifier works by helping the clutches grip without chattering and reducing the wear of partial disc contact, would this be a benefit in a WD/WD45 hand clutch? My thought is that it's just unnecessary because you could tighten it up so they don't slip, but it still made me curious as I've never seen it discussed.

821 or equivalent oil will do the same thing. MACK
