Just make sure that your replacement cup has the bevel on it or it will not clear the block. I bought one from a vendor that said it would work but it didn’t have the bevel and it will not work. Just trying to save you some trouble.

The factory cup is 4 3/4 od and 4 7/16 id. I have seen the one that various vendors sell and it did not have the bevel, so l didn't buy one. One my cups is beat up pretty bad and the other has a rust hole in the bottom. I can probably fix the rusty one but if I can buy new I would.

Most of the oil bowls sold fit the early CA that uses the same small air cleaner as the B & C tractors that have the spring clips on the cup. I have not seen any aftermarket source for the larger CA and late B air cleaners with the screw clamp for the oil bowl. Good used or if your lucky, NOS may be your only options.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

That’s good to know. When I was looking for one back a couple of years they only offered the clip style cup.

None of the ones that Steiner carries is the right one for my air cleaner. They are to small and the one that is the right diameter does not have the beveled back.

There was a bigger cup used on the D10-12-14 that was 4-3/4... but it has straight walls on the outside...your saying yours is that OD size, but taper walls..?.. thats odd. Dont recall seeing any aftermarket like that.

My cup has a beveled back to clear the block I don't know if the straight walled cup will clear the block. Both of my CA tractors have the same cup, one is a 52 and the other is a 53.

Those shown above are not correct for a CA with a clamp type cup. They will only work on the early CA that has the same small air cleaner as the early B the C and RC with the spring clips. The larger late model CA air cleaner has straight sides and a bevel to clear the block. The air cleaners on the D10/12 tractors are spaced out at the mount so that a straight sided cup works.
