I recently bought another CA with a wide front. Put a Cross Mfg. 3 Point on it. I have Woods L306 on my narrow front CA which I like. Would I be better off with a Woods 3 Point Mower or is there a better mower to look for? I want a 6 foot mower. If I found another Woods are the blades and spindles the same as the L306?

I've had both an L306 and a 3 point on my CA not at the same time. The CA isn't heavy enough for a 3 pt mower. When you lift it the front gets very light and it handles poorly. The only way to lift the 3 pt is to have the mower running. I found it a very bad option. I put the same mower on my WD45 and the L306 back on the CA. I have no lift cylinder on my Belly mower it's blocked in one position and works great.

The woods 3pts use right hand blades your L306 uses left hand blades

I pull a 6' finish mower with my CA no problems, I guess it depends on what you want to do, I use my CA to break ground, disc ect, so it is easier to use a 3PH for me.
