Hello

We just noticed in the parts book between the stub shaft and where it bolts, the book shows this little round thing they call a gasket but when we just replaced our shaft we didn’t anything or reason for it. Anybody know what it’s about.

that is a seal in the hollow shaft to seal the oil for the pin that shifts it from 540 to 1000

If this small gasket is bad or missing can oil leak out from between the two mounting plates?
