Rantoul is in Illinois, they have a huge antique working tractor and equipment show with field work going on daily. It is on the grounds of an old airport. In my opinion as a current farmer, it is more impressive than the Farm Progress Show

Chanute AFB, IL  They still haven't cleaned up the carcinogenics.  It is known that Agent Orange is still along the runways and around the ramp area.  There are many more toxic chemicals that still lie there.  That is why the Gov cannot sell the property.  I would not attend anything there.

I was stationed there in 1972 - 1973 USAF.  There is a FB Group for people that were stationed there.  They have proof of the conditions of the base.

I hope to be there each of the four days the show is going on.  You'll never see more golf carts, Rangers, Mules, etc. in one place in your life.  The demonstration fields are so spread out, you really need a vehicle of some type to see it all.  It's the best "working" show I've ever seen, bar none.

Loading the Triple A club trailer this weekend. Will be set up with Randy and the company in the A-C tent from start to finish. Could have a daily forum roundup there, just need someone smart enough to remember everyone’s name. This show is almost beyond description other than BIG. Hope that everyone that attends will stop by and see us.

We are driving up Wednesday and will be at the show Thursday Friday Saturday. If everyone wants to pick a time to meet at the Allis Chalmers section we can say 11:00am every day. Or a different time if there is something happening at that time?

I stopped by there yesterday afternoon.  Registered my tractor and picked up a golf cart pass ($40 for all four days).  There were a few AC tractors there already.  Bergeson Farms had a Two-Twenty and a D-21 already there.  There was also a  Two-Twenty FWA and a Two-Ten along with several smaller D series tractors.  There were a lot more IH and JD tractors already there.

had planned to, out of town friends coming in to visit instead. Son in law has 3 rooms reserved, convoying in with 4 trailers of carts, tractors (wrong color, I didn't raise him.)and equipment. he's bringing a disc with his grandpa's AR because the plow lines are usually so long.

We followed you over to the field and I ask you what time they were going to start, was going to come back around and talk to you some more but with that good looking 190 you didn’t stay alone for long.

The 7080 open station belongs to Mark Hacker from Michigan.  I talked to him Thursday morning when I took my uncle (former AC dealer) to the show.  The 7080 never came as an open station; he modified it himself.  It really looks nice!

I prefer the big roomy open 220 over the cab 8070....until it's hot, cold or dusty!!!
