Managed to misplace my key. Is it possible to pick up a key without changing the ignition switch? Thanks for your help.

Which series of D17? The key for my E combine was the same as the Key for Dads series 1 D17.

Been a long time since I worked in the salvage yard, only remember 2 keys for Allis. Not saying someone didn't put an aftermarket replacement switch in at one time.

It is a D17 series 3. Believe it or not, after research the key is the same as long as the serial # is below 7000. After somewhere around that number it is a different key.
