In 85 Allis changed the low range was it for all the powershifts and all gears? What gears were changed and by how much? Is there a chart comparison. thanks for any info.

They changed the two gears that make LOW RANGE in the range transmission. They increased the speed 10% to 15%, or whatever it took to make 5th gear LOW range right at 6 MPH.  Nothing was changed in the Power Shift transmission. Only the range transmission. All six speeds in LOW range are 10 to 15% faster.

This is the first I have EVER heard they had different colored decals. How cool is that? I only know that if you have one with 2nd high and 6th low at different speeds, 5th gear doesn't have the high pitch squeal that gets on my nerves.

I have decals made of the slower range if anyone needs them. More variations will becoming at somepoint. There are very minute differences in decals, that it's hard to keep straight. My decal shop thinks I'm a pain in the rear lol. The one of the faster gearing is in a 1985 8010, but they stuck a 8070 decal in it.

8070 gearing gets a little confusing at times. Any 8070 FWA is 8050 gearing plus another 100 engine RPM (2400 instead of 2300). Any early 8070 2wd was slower because of the final drives, UNTIL very late models, which again got 8050 final drives.

Lots of different speeds depending on models. Pictures give an idea of speed differences.
