New Holland 665 machine I just picked up with 1600 hours - 1991 model and real low hours . Clean and tight - good paint and overall almost like new - now just need to find heat and cab enclosure for it to make it winter ready .
Son said since he was going to use it around here he helped on price by trading one of his grading plainer units to the owner . So have a set of forks he built on it now and used it the other day to unload his latest steel shipment - guess I haven't forgot how to run the New Holland controls .
After running a pilot control joystick Bodcat 300S with articulated steering its different to get into a machine that has foot control boom and bucket along with skid steer on drive .
The darn new fangled things sure make a difference, like going from HD5B dozer to the FD5 machine with power shift and 6 way blade .  Then from going from D6-9U to the HD5B was going backwards , or from the HD 4 and detachable hoe to the AC 715B-D was a step forward - one gets spoiled it seems .

Pilot controls are nice and make you lazy.
I have a foot controlled skid steer and gets tiresome after using pilot controls.
For someone that has never used one it's like telling a kid to get in a vehicle with a clutch.
Happens more often than not anymore.
