For those that don't know, there are multiple facebook groups for allis chalmers broke out by series or model. Ran into a lovely gentleman in the 7000 series group that claims the 426 had many known cylinder head failures and issues with electrolysis...…..and also cannot be convinced otherwise that the electrolysis was a 301 thing. Can't fix dumb I guess

I ignore the self proclaimed experts. after expressing my views once. they can take away but won't change my mind unless they can come up with documented evdience. my brothers second cousins third sisters word isn't enough to sway my opinion.

Other than maybe some very modern engines I don't know of a diesel engine that is water cooled that doesn't have electrolysis issues if not cared for or given enough hours.

It is funny how many of those experts there are on the FB tractor groups. I rarely ever even post anymore because I'll have half a dozen tell me I'm wrong. I just scroll on by lol!
