Busted a tire earlier today and it was the old field and road tread pattern and I believe Firestone has discontinued that line in that size(18.4-38).So guess I’ll have to update tread pattern. Tractor has duals and the others have a lot of life left in them and can’t really afford to update all the others to radials at this time. I know radials will pull and wear better just was wondering how the bias ones have held up for others. Also thought about harvest king or crop max as the have copied the old field and road pattern anybody using them?

I put 12 ply Crop Masters on or 7060. I couldn't afford radials either but know radials would be better. The 7060 is not or main tractor.
So far I can't tell a major difference from the old radials to the new bias tires for ride quality, but I am not traveling down the highway at road speed a lot.

My 8070 has radial 20.8x38 titans on the inside and older worn 20.8x38 firestones on the outside. Seems to work fairly well. 17 psi on the inners and 12 in the duals. Seems to work well. Could be an option for you and that way you are spending money on modern tires while saving the cost of doing all four.

I sold a lot of Firestone and Harvest King tires. I would not be afraid of 8 ply Harvest King. If it's your main tractor id seriously think about a new set of Firestone Super All Traction bias ply. NOT super all traction 2's. The 2's have a thin casing, less bars, and weigh less. FYI if I still owned my tire shop, You would be able to get 8 ply 18.4x38 Harvest Kings put on for around 625.00 each.
