I made a post last year concerning rear tires for 30 inch rows on 7000 series tractor. I ended up putting 15.5 tires on and spacing them to 90 inches for stability and since I plan on running my sprayer at 90 inches. Posted below is a picture of them. uploads/21175/AC7045a.jpg" rel="nofollow - uploads/21175/AC7045a.jpg . Before I try to adjust my front axle to fit in 30 inch rows. I'm curious what people are doing on their 7000 series tractors to get them to fit. I have balloon tires out front with axle all the way in. As it sits now, I'm running at 65 inch centers. 1) I'd like to run the front tires at 90 inch spacing but I'm not sure how far the axles will spread on a 7045. Before I go pulling them out to see if they will, does anyone know the max length on a front axle or have you done this and it works. If not possible, am I better off leaving axle were its at and getting narrower tires up front? I also thought about leaving one side of axle alone to run in the row and pulling one out a notch so it runs outside the the next row. I'm sure that is not ideal. Any thoughts or experience thanks.

| 14L x 16 front tires can be set at 90 inches. 11.00 x 16 tires set at 88 inches. |

We spray with an 8010 ps and Hardi 650. Corn is on 30', beans are planted on 21'. We have no weights on the front of the 8010, don't need them. We run a 7.50 x 20 12 ply 4 rib tire on the front set at 60' and 18.4x38 set at 60' on the back. For burndown, we run duals on the the 8010 to carry better and better ride. Corn is no problem, beans, you gotta be watching and hope I did a good job of planting. Dad says he runs down more beans with the front tires than the rears so we went narrow on the front. Regardless of your front axle width the width of tire makes a big differnce. Having said that, the only thing the 8010 does is spray so it is set up for that purpose only. BTW a 2300 or 2500 kinze transport tire rim is perfect for the front your 7045. Leon B MO

| This weekend going to work on pulling axle out . Will definitely keep that in mind changing rim and tire size if having issues staying in rows. I've got 30 inch beans so will see if tires have work OK. |

| Loosen all the bolts on the front axle and drive it around for a while in rough terrain and hi-speed. It will help shake things loose. |

You can slide them out to 90". You will have 7 axle holes showing outside of the center tube. I had holes cut through the flat iron in front of the axle so I could get a 3/4 drive extension and 1-5/8 socket to the inside nut. When these were taken, we were on 18" rows. I will always miss them, but like a sheep I went with the flock to 30". I slid the rows out 2" where to wheels would run leaving a 22" space. You can see it in the picture. We loved to combine them.
