I know it's the wrong color, but allis shares many of the same parts I'm struggling with.
My white 2-70 the pipes hooked on the roosa master injection pump leak. They have ever since I got it back from the repair shop. I'm referring to the little short pipe that's held on with a banjo bolt. The injection line screws on this.
Also I noticed that my return line keeps leaking. I'm having a lot of trouble with those rubber t boots that connects one injector to the next.
Any help on either problem would be great.
When I get this fixed I've got a line on my 2-135 white that needs to be replaced. I think it's cracked. I can loosen the nut at the injector then tighten it again and it will be fine for a little while.

Did you use new copper washers on both the inside and outside of the injector lines? It's imperative you use new ones every time you remove them.

I believe he used aluminum??? I'm not positive. I know he used new ones but I'm certain they were not copper. Will copper be ok with diesel fuel?

A lot of engines use copper.

Every one of them I've been around including AC, Oliver, JD, and IHC use copper washers. I've never seen aluminum used for this purpose.

Well....you can't get a normal torque wrench on them on the back side but I think my 220 service manual says something like 35ft/lb on them. Though they were tight with hand wrench but tried the T/W and they went a good bit more. Maybe you don't have them TIGHT!

Those washers are supposed to be steel, and I tighten them as tight as I can get with a regular 9/16 wrench. A 2-70 is a 1655 with a new dress, great little tractors!

On related note, is a 2-135 basically the same as MM 1355?
------------- I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

Not at all. A 2-150 is exactly the same as a G1355 except sheet metal/cab, and some updated issues. The 2-135 and 2-155 are the same basic tractor as one another, but was a totally new design, larger trans and rear end with inboard planetary final drives and wet brakes. This drivetrain is what they used for a long time afterward. The DA 9130, 9150, 9170, 9190 etc. Great drivetrain! The 2-135/155 shared the Hercules engine 478 cid from the oliver 2050/2150.
