If you have a 13.6-28 on one side and a 14.9-28 on the other what will be the height difference ? Less air inv14.9 and more in 13.6 I assume will compensate some . Not going to be pulling loads . |

13.6 to 14.9 is 1.3 inches ..........thats the width... im guessing the sidewall height is 80% of the width so about 1 inch on the radius.......... so the 14.9 is about 2 inches bigger in diameter... rough guess. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

closer to 2.2 inches........... per the chart. but remember, you are more interested in the RADIUS not diameter... So you need to let out some air so the axle drops about 1 inch on the 14.9 tire side.

| Problem is, there can be a difference in actual diameter between brands. I have seen the time a 13.6 Armstrong was as big of diameter as a 14.9 Goodyear. |

| 14.9 is an old Goodyear on 14 .9 rim 13.6 is is a newer Firestone on 13.6 rim . |

| They may be closer to the actual same diameter than you think. If the tractor sits level side-to-side that's the goal. |

Park on the concrete and measure the distance from the ground up the center of the axle.... ( about 23.5 - 24 inches). ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

Putting a little more air in the shorter tire will raise that side some as well. ------------- D14, D17, 5020, 612H, CASE 446 |

I guess putting the tape measure to each tire will help a lot. As has been said the brand of tire makes a big difference. In the mid 50's when "B'' models came out with 10-24 tires some came with Good Year tires and some with Firestone. The Firestones were very noticeably bigger, both height and width... same numbers on the sidewalls, go figure? I really don't know how the tire companies justified the difference? Since then I haven't kept on top too much of what they're doing. Depend on your tape measure for comparison. ------------- Currently- WD,WC,3WF's,2 D14's B. Previously- I 600,TL745,200,FL9,FR12,H3,816 LBH. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven cannot heal! |

Went and saw the tire and rim and wheel (power adjust) very good shape Measures 1" shorter so some air pressure adjustment will make it work . May sell 14.9 rim or keep for later . Have extra wheel now . Also may sell 2 weights . Anyway will put it on tomorrow. Thanks for all the posts !!! Jim |

I got the 13.6 28 mounted and with the extra tread and 14 lbs pressure versus 10 lbs in the 14.9 tire the center axles measure 24.25 inches to center of axle from concrete floor of my shop. Looks ok for my use . Thanks to all the posts ! Jim |
