My sister in law who lives in Edmond Ok. has a king size headboard that she just bought. After seeing it in person she doesn't like it. She called the company to send it back but they said to keep it. My wife and I would take it but here is the problem. How to get it to upstate New York ? Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

As long as it's under 70 lbs it can go on a regular fedex or ups truck. No guarantee how many pieces it'll be in when it gets there though

Having shipped furniture all over the country My recommendation would be to FORGET IT. As a custom furniture manufacturer I have used Fed X, UPS, and many different common carriers. Fed X and UPS the worst. I never found a crate or box that they couldn't damage or destroy, plus the cost is very expensive. Best thing I did was get out of the business.

uship.com ?

I have never used them, but I saw them on Shipping Wars a few years back and always wondered if they were a viable option.

Ship it UPS or FedEx and insure it for way more than it's worth!

This is really interesting as I have a good friend in China trying to ship me the same item in the US with a China post express delivery service. He's having a hard time trying to figure out what exactly is needed in terms of paperwork. It's not the ideal service to use if you're trying to ship overseas as I still have a http://https://www.packages24.com/carriers/china-post-tracking" rel="nofollow - China post tracking number that I keep following, and it shows me that it's stuck somewhere in China yet. At least the site that I'm using to track the parcel has clear expectations when I should have it in my hands.
