What's a good rake match for a 1950 b? Making rows for a round baler...

Just about any rake as they are not hard to pull.

That style lost favor fast on our rolling land when the 2 wheels in the back models came along. That would be yard art here, Confused maybe worth as much as one to be used. The pictured model would rake less feet per pass up hill and more down hill, and because of wheels both ends leave more hay in a dip. But if your more or less level should do ok.

Don't you need a 150HP cab tractor to pull a hayrakeConfused That' about all I see nowadays LOL Seriously a B is a great raking tractor In days lone gone I've rakes thousands of acres of hay with a B. Thumbs Up

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Ok, is there a better rake for round bales or doesn't it matter?

I would prefer a parallel bar rake like a New Holland 55, 56 or 256. They rake clean and don't tend to rope the windrow as much as the old style.
