Hi All. I recently found some old photos of a renovation job I completed a few years ago. When I came to my place in 2005, things were pretty run down. The out buildings were rough. This included a 20' X 20' shed that I think had been a chicken coop at one time. As you can see by the photos, I really should have torn it down and started again, but a few parts were worth saving and a new build would have meant permits and extra costs and delays, so I 'renovated'. Here I am about to start.
This half of the roof was kind of OK.

Straightened up and starting to look like something.

This is what it looks like now. I use it to store the lawn mowers and all of the gardening equipment. I guess with a bit of work, you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear.

The siding is rough milled pine, new (after drying for a year) at the time over 1/2" plywood sheathing. I originally thought the wall under the one side was sound, but I ended up jacking it up and replacing it as well. Really the only section that was saved was one side of the roof, plus the foundation and the floor.
