Have any of you guys re-attached the id plate back onto the block of (in this case) a 100 series engine ? How did you do it may I ask ? Thanks

I've never removed one.  You could probably drill out the old rivets inside the block if you are careful and then rivet it back on.  Heck, my D21 doesn't even have a tag on it.

Thanks for the reply. We did not "intentionally" remove it, it fell off while sitting at the fuel barrel Geek . What year/model did they attach the engine plate ?? I don't recall it on our D 15/17/19 ??

The rivets can be pulled out if you can get a grip on them. I did it on my 190XT engine. Thy are drive type rivets.
